MC4D are the North American duo shifting the landscape of electronic music with their trademark fusion of Americana country and folk with EDM.
In 2024 the twin brothers took the industry by storm with appearances at festivals such as Stagecoach, EDC Las Vegas and Summerfest. Additionally, they’ve amassed over 20 million streams for their self-releases, remixes and SoundCloud mix series titled Down Under Mix Series.
The pair’s momentum has continued to grow rapidly with the release of their Wanderings EP on 6 December. The EP perfectly illustrates the bold sonic frontier they’ve been carving out with their “folktronica” sound. Wanderings was inspired by their travels in 2024 which included Joshua Tree and the Colorado Rockies to name a few. 
The EP is also a culmination of various musical influences, including Avicii and red-dirt country soundscapes. Speaking on the EP the duo share; “We love how the EP encompasses a range of styles, from red-dirt country to Avicii-inspired anthemic folk, while still feeling like a cohesive project. Additionally, we aimed for the songs on the EP to reflect the incredible landscapes we visited in 2024, including Joshua Tree, Banff, the Colorado Rockies, and many more. Our goal is to build a unique brand of dance music that conjures the freedom, openness, and wonder that these places inspire, and our ‘Wanderings’ EP is the first step in that process.”
The 7-track project fuses authentic storytelling with raw instrumentation and a vibrant, uplifting atmosphere. Wanderings has already garnered millions of streams, and sets the stage for a prolific 2025 for MC4D, with numerous high-profile collaborations in the works.
