Avicii’s ‘The Nights’ hits 2 billion stream mark

Avicii’s posthumous reign continues, as the late Swedish producer and DJ has achieved another milestone with his single ‘The Nights’, which has amassed 2 billion Spotify streams!

Released over a decade ago in 2014, the single is part of Avicii’s phenomenal 4-track EP The Days / The Nights, which features remixes by Felix Jaehn and Henrik B

After its release,‘The Nights’ catapulted to number one on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Songs as well as the UK Dance Chart.

Netflix recently released a documentary about Avicii’s (Tim Bergling) life, artistic journey and personal battles, titled ‘I’m Tim’. The documentary was met with controversy, as a few of Tim’s close friends claimed that some information was left out, and Tim’s father manipulated the documentary’s narrative for his own gain.
