As 2024 draws to a close, we caught up with 6 artists redefining the electronic music landscape with their distinct and innovative sonic palette’s, consistency and creative prowess. We spoke to tech house legend Cody Chase, big room whiz Cynthia Laclé, house and techno stalwart IND:RA, techno powerhouse Alex Cecil, bass house superstar Avi Sic as well as tech and latin maestro MITCH DB. To push boundaries even further—whether it’s through releasing more music that challenges genre norms or collaborating with artists in other genres. I’m also aiming to play in new cities and connect with different audiences around the world. And, of course, making my next ADE party bigger and better!

I think we’ll see a resurgence of nostalgic sounds reimagined for the future—think ‘90s rave energy blended with modern production techniques. Organic and live elements will continue to weave into electronic music, and genres like indie dance will keep climbing and dominating. Also, expect AI and tech to push live performances into uncharted territory, creating even more immersive experiences.

My big goal for 2025 is to release tracks on two of the most iconic labels in the electronic music scene: Factory 93 and Drumcode. These labels represent everything I strive for in my music — cutting-edge sound, deep grooves, and a relentless focus on quality. They’ve been home to some of the most legendary releases in techno and tech-house, and getting a release on either would be a massive milestone for me as an artist.
I’m already pouring my energy into crafting tracks that meet their high standards, blending my signature sound with the dark, driving vibes these labels are known for. It’s not just about making music; it’s about pushing boundaries and creating something that truly resonates with their ethos. Landing a release with Factory 93 or Drumcode would be a dream come true, and I’m determined to make it happen in 2025. Let’s go!

Musical prediction for 2025:
2025 is going to be the year of Minimal Tech and UK Garage (UKG). We’re already seeing the groundwork being laid for these genres to dominate the spotlight, and next year, they’re going to explode. The stripped-back, groove-heavy vibes of minimal tech are bringing a fresh energy to dancefloors, with intricate percussion and rolling basslines taking center stage. It’s all about letting the music breathe while keeping the crowd locked in and moving.
And then there’s UKG — those bouncy, bass-driven rhythms and soulful vocals are making a huge comeback, and it’s impossible to resist their infectious energy. It’s a perfect balance of nostalgia and innovation, blending old-school vibes with modern production techniques.
Next year, expect to hear basslines front and center, dominating sets across the board. Producers and DJs are leaning hard into sounds that connect on a deeper level with both underground and mainstream audiences. I’m here for it, and you better believe I’ll be riding this wave too. Musical prediction for 2025: I think the Hard Techno scene will continue or grow a bit more, but I also think that the commercial scene will come back more.

Goal for 2025: 2025 is going to be a release heavy year for me, as I plan to release multiple records and some massive collabs all through the year.
Message to fans for the new year: Thank you for all the support in 2024 and making my releases chart. 2025 will see many of my unreleased music getting released, I hope you enjoy the new direction.
Musical prediction for 2025: As Melodic and Hard Techno become more mainstream, I feel there will be rise of more vocal groove based music as we enter 2025. Also, as DJing becomes more and more easier, I can see some of the artists move towards a more Live/Hybrid type of performance on lines of Bicep, Rufus Du Sol.

Goal for 2025: My goals for 2025 are to grow as much as possible and share my music with even more people around the world. Things are already going well, but I’m aiming to take it to the next level with music production and live shows. I want to create a unique and memorable experience for everyone who takes the time to see me perform live on stage.

Musical prediction for 2025: Keeping up with trends can be challenging, but I try to stay in the loop while also working on creating my own unique era in music. If I had to pick a trend, I believe the techno genre will continue to grow significantly this year. This is great news for me because I genuinely enjoy producing and performing in this style.
