Ex Medias Collective Returns For Genre Bending Sophomore Compilation, ‘WE ARE EX MEDIAS VOL II’

Ex Medias was originally founded to shine a light on underexposed artists and genres in the Chicago area. Since its inception, they have expanded into a nation-wide collective with the mission of nurturing the growth of their artists to their fullest potential. They not only foster their existing members, but grow the community by providing tools, opportunities and resources for other budding creatives. EX MEDIAS is bigger than any one individual – it is a community driven to succeed.

Now, this collective for their genre-bending sophomore EP, ‘WE ARE EX MEDIAS VOL II’, that is yet again solid through and through. “Marilyn” kicks things off in electrifying, future bass fashion courtesy of Galena Crew and Finn, setting the tone for the jaw dropping level of songwriting and production to expect from the EP. Blank Ages follows with “Shanghai Dreams“, a beautiful ode to the city that builds into a epic, drum & bass tune that give the feeling as if you’re flying down the Shanghai highways, windows down, and this song blasting out. #BBC follows up with a heart melting, soul-stirring vibe for “So Long” that isn’t easily forgotten.

AireLoosh offers a lo-fi/trap hybrid track, titled “Gaze“, that hooks you in with mesmerizing groove, building into a booming, bass centric drop. TURBO. caps off the EP guns blazing on “Breathing Danger“, delivering a speaker melting dubstep track that can’t help but make you want to head bang.

All in all, Ex Medias struck gold with this sophomore compilation and we can’t wait to hear what’s next. Listen below!
