Indie electronic duo Lastlings is making a lasting impression with their first music release in over a year — their new single “Deja Vu.”
The track boasts a deep, stunning production with intricate vocal layering and sound design. It’s an introduction to the brother-sister duo’s newfound sound, which they’re beyond excited to share with the world. With Amy on vocals and Joshua on synths and drums, they play off each other perfectly in their live shows as well as this particular song.
It’s easy to hear RÜFÜS DU SOL rubbing off on these musicians, which just so happens to be one of the duo’s biggest inspirations and supporters. “Taste is such a funny thing,” the group explains. “…when you find people who share your love of particular music it bonds you instantly, you don’t need anything else in common. We had that moment when we met Amy and Josh last year.” 
Although they didn’t have a label set up at the time, now they do. “Deja Vu” is out now on RÜFÜS DU SOL’s Rose Avenue Records. Listen here and get lost in the magic!
