After serving six months of a two- to four-year sentece for violating probation on a roughly decade-old gun and drug case, Meek Mill has been ordered to be set free on unsecured bail. The directive was given by the Pennsylvania State Supreme Court this afternoon.
Mill released a statement via Twitter in three parts (seen below). In his statement, Mill said he will be working closely with his legal team to “overturn this unwarranted conviction.”
