Whilst he still remains a masked figure, the sounds of UZ are being unveiled thick and fast at the moment. In the run up to the release of his Layers LP, the bass don has been releasing a steady stream of singles, and ‘Bad Gurlz’ marks the third since the start of the year.
This slow burning hip-hop inspired cut brings a languid energy to the table, which is then rapidly given contrast by the tough tones of OG Maco, who is making waves himself right now. With UZ’s production sounding stronger than ever, we can’t wait for the release of the album next month.
