Bass producer UZ has just reemerged onto the scene with an unprecedented turn in his prosperous career. Along with many of his friends and fellow collaborators, he has decided to launch his very own record label. Over the upcoming months, Quality Goods Records will see unique releases and mixes from all corners of the bass music spectrum.
“Over the past few years I have traveled the world countless times, and throughout my journeys I have been influenced by a wide array of producers and new sounds. I have always felt that there has been a needed staple within the community that allows artist to work freely within the confines of their own creativity. That is why I have decided to create Quality Goods Records.”
In celebration of the announcement, UZ himself has uploaded an incredible, 20-minute minimix jam-packed with unreleased material. In addition to tracks from the likes of Sophie, Lux.impala, Dabow and Alvin Risk, one of the IDs is the upcoming collaboration between Boombox Cartel and QUIX, recently played out at Coachella by none other than RL Grime.
Listen to the minimix in full for a taste of what’s to come, and head over to Quality Goods’ official website for more information.
