Producer Goldwash has just premiered his latest original through Nest HQ, this time in the form of an interesting and movement-inducing future bass track called “Need To Hear.” Featuring his own, bold vocals and a completely distinctive percussion section, the song reveals another fascinating side to the beat-maker’s already impressive catalogue of work. The track begins with a series of optimistic arpeggios that blip and echo around the mix, before the lead vocals enter the space with prominence and strength. Light percussion accompanies the voices and carries the track into the break. Characterized by a relentless, thumping kick drum and goofy drum strikes, the arrangement soon becomes a unique backdrop for the vocals to shine in front of. After a short respite, the track returns to the initial break with newfound energy and meaning.
