Martin Garrix Officially Releases His Remix For The Weeknd

Martin Garrix has been playing out his emotive remix of The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face” for a couple months now, and fans have been gnawing at their nails waiting for the official release.

While news about Garrix’s album still fails to surface, you can tide yourself over for a bit longer with this interesting remix that shows a more experimental side to the young producer. The intro, and percussion at the drop, are all pretty formulaic – especially the kicks. Even the lead synths are pretty basic saws. But the chords are actually pretty new and exciting for the producer, digging into the deeper registers and playing off the darker themes in The Weeknd’s own work.

Too bad there’s no download… Check it out below.
