French producer, Watermät, has teamed up with Germany-based producer, TAI, to deliver a collaboration that has us breathless. An up-and-coming player in the deep house game, Watermät saw tremendous success with his last single, “Bullit,” which was arguably the track of the summer last year, and TAI, while a newcomer in the electronic dance music scene, is a veteran in production, with three top 10 albums and a number of accolades to his name. While Watermät and TAI make an unlikely duo, their sounds have meshed perfectly, just in time to deliver a stunning result that is ready to take festival season by storm.
The track is a deep house masterpiece that are bolstered by elements that are drawn from bass music. The driving piano-melody is layered underneath catchy vocal loops and a pulsing bass line before segueing into a brief, electro-inspired riff that is reminiscent of deadmau5. “Frequency” is slated to be released on March 30th via Spinnin’ Records, so keep an eye out for the release of this one!
