A critique that a lot of DJs receive is playing a set of music that is all the same bpm. Sharkoffs seeks to answer this complaint and breathe new life into DJ sets, with a pack of 4 songs that start and end in 128bpm but have drum and bass “Drops”.
Some of these mash-ups aren’t the best and can be a little jarring, but that’s not uncommon when jumping such a large bpm so quickly. That being said, it’s refreshing to see something like this and hopefully these mash-ups inspire other DJs and producer to experiment with multi-bpm mash-ups.
