We have all come to love DJ Hanzel; the sassy, but classy persona of Dillon Francis who recently took things one deeper at a Mad Decent Block Party. The event was held in Los Angeles, which is Dillon’s home town but I don’t know if his Dad got to see him and his friend perform. Either way, the untz was brought to the usually bass-heavy gathering that focuses on artists signed by Diplo’s label.
I think it took people a while to understand that this was actually happening but as it develops they start getting into it. He doesn’t play a half bad set either I must admit! The selection of tunes makes me want a little bit more than just 15 minutes of video. Dillon’s antics will never end and I admire his ardor to take things even one more deeper than he has before. A DJ Hanzel tour with opener Dillon Francis in the works maybe? After the album drops we can only hope…
