The 1985 hit “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” by Tears For Fears just got a 2013 makeover from Tron Johnson. Usually I don’t post progressive house tracks, but this one got my attention right from the start.
Tron’s remix makes great use of counterpoint after the drop with the multiple melodies and the harmonized layered samples work perfectly together. It was nice to hear something less hardcore from Tron Johnson, who usually has more aggressive house tunes (and other genres). Many of the tracks are free, including this one, so grab them all and enjoy!
