Major Lazer Confirm Finishing New Album By End of 2013

Major Lazer, a.k.a. Diplo, Jillionaire, and Walshy Fire, have been all over the world lately, blowing away crowds in every country. However, in a recent interview on the “Lunch with Lewi” show, Jillionaire announced that they are in the process of writing the new album and plan to have it finished by the year’s end. He also hinted at upcoming collaborations with big names such as Lorde, and Pharrell Willaims:

“We’ve had a crazy [touring] schedule, I think we’ve been touring for the last 18 months. It’s been crazy, it’s been hectic, it’s been a lot of fun. I think that once this year shuts down we’re gonna pull it back in and do a lot less touring. Right now we’re going in to a bunch of writing sessions for the next album, and hopefully we’re gonna finish that off by the end of the year. It should be out sometime next year.“
