Ex-SHM member Steve Angello announced his partnership with MIO Energy not too long ago and has finally unveiled the promotional track, “I/O”, featuring his label’s very own, Wayne & Woods. To make things even better, they’re offering it for a free download world-wide. And that’s about as exciting as it gets. It is cliché, boring progressive house that has seems to have been done a million times before. Yes, I agree, its great for all the fans who think “Don’t You Worry Child” was the best thing to ever happen to them. But personally, I expected Angello’s superb production skills, think “H8RS” or even “Yeah”, to propel the track rather than become another redundant release, boring enough to peel the paint off your walls.
