Avicii – Silhouettes (The Remixes Preview) [LE7ELS Records]

By now, everyone is familiar with Avicii‘s entrancing track Silhouttes. Perfectly nailing the formula that our favorite Swede has so lovingly created, Silhouettes is a beautiful song with a great vocal courtesy of Salem Al Fakir, an amazing melody, and lots of head-rushy white noise goodness. Now, as with many great EDM tracks, a remix pack is on the horizon–and all of the mixes change up the euphoric prog-house track immensely. Syn Cole‘s mix is a jittery, shimmering peak-time electro banger with just a bit of dub influence; EDX‘s mix includes lots of heavy elements, perfect for playing on Friday night out at the club; and the Lazy Rich mix is a bit closer to the Avicii sound, including the gorgeous piano breakdown before a heavy electro bassline at the drop.
