LA’s newest rising talent Cade continues to unveil his artistic appeal by supplying a visual aesthetic to his newest single, “Care.” Released just last week, the track has already amassed over 200,000 streams online, and continues to rapidly grow in popularity. This is the first piece off of Cade’s upcoming debut EP that’s set to be released July 22nd, and is expected to be a stunning first glance at Cade’s refined indie dance sound that he’s been evolving for the past couple of years. The 19-year-old producer recently moved to Los Angeles, where he played his debut live set at the El Rey Theatre with Ramzoid last Thursday, July 7th.
The music video for “Care” is a solid representation of the song’s contemplative atmosphere, accompanied by flickering backdrops that evoke a heartbroken and nostalgic mood.
“‘Care’ is so cool to me because it mixes the emotion of R&B music with the dynamic elements of electronic dance music, creating a fresh sound that can be enjoyed anywhere, anytime.
I worked on this song with my good friend, Trevor Dahl, who you may know from Cheat Codes. I always love working with him, because I feel that we have a very similar mindset when it comes to making music; so we work very well together creatively. I have so much respect for Trevor – both as an artist and as a person. Everything he touches turns to gold.” – Cade
