Sebastian Ingrosso & Tommy Trash – Reload (feat. John Martin) (Vocal Mix) [Preview]

Reload”, the electro house anthem collaboration between Sebastian Ingrosso and Tommy Trash, is a track that has had enormous success and popularity since its release in the fall. Today, the brand new vocal mix of “Reload”, now featuring John Martin, was premiered on Pete Tong’s radio show as the Essential New Tune of the week.

With John Martin already the voice behind Swedish House Mafia’s “Don’t You Worry Child” and “Save The World”, he must be Sebastian Ingrosso’s go-to guy at this point. In this new vocal mix the voice of John Martin sounds powerful and melodic as usual, but seems to lack the ability to really turn this track into something bigger. Don’t get me wrong, “Reload” still hits hard and gives off the same energy it has been since its release, but the added vocals of Martin don’t seem to add anything spicy to the original track.

Sebastian Ingrosso and Tommy Trash weren’t the first producers to hold off on releasing vocal mixes to a previous release, as some of us have seen done before (Avicii & Nicky Romero – “I Could Be The One (Nicktim)”). Whether these artists hold off on releasing vocal mixes because they are simply perfectionists, or because they want their track to get more airtime, it is always interesting hearing the end result.

Check out the vocal mix of “Reload” for yourself, taken from Pete Tong’s latest radio show.
